Casablanca Valley

Our first magical stop in Chile. Straight from the plane to the vineyards. A bad idea? I don't think so! 

At first, I was a bit scared of being jet lagged. However, when we entered the Loma Larga Vineyard, my boyfriend and I only needed one second to relax. We arrived in heaven. Although that's what's heaven looks like for me. Surrounded by mountains, fruit trees and grapevines we met the sommelier. The best sommelier we had so far. She was very passioned about her job and gave us interesting facts about the wines. We normally don't get that many information with other wine tours. So we were very pleased! The tasting was in a peaceful setting on a pick nick table next to the grapevines and fruit trees. We liked all the wines we tried, but we have a crush on the pinot noir.

After the big tour and tasting, the lovely horses were ready to take us for a ride through the vineyards. It was a relaxing walk ringed with a beautiful landscape. 

Just the perfect first day!
